We are now in Oz after two amazing years of traveling Europe in our home built plane. We met many fantastic people who we are proud to call friends and have gained a much better understanding of the similarities and differences between the cultures of the different European states as well as the history and geography that have lead to these differences. We enjoy meeting people with similar interests to ourselves and learning more about other cultures. Please let us know if you're going to be in Queensland and would like to catch up for a meal and a chat.

Permit to Fly!!!!

Gary called last night to say that he has our permit to fly, we were worried that this step might take a long time, so we're very pleased to be able to start testing soon and maybe we'll still make it to the Finnish fly-in!

Feel free to crack open the champagne and celebrate with us!

And here is a random photo of Bruce (Gary's puppy) who spent all morning helping me by biting my hair & pulling it and biting my ears, whilst I was lying on the mechanics bench you see in the photo....

    Thanks Katja, we're excited too! Any news about your holiday? It looks like we'll be in Scandinavia until August, which is probably less ideal for meeting up :-( I really can't believe that we're finally finished, it has been a real mission, but I'm sure it'll be worth it once we're off!
